As Senior Vice President of Store Concepts for RadioShack Corporation, Michael led the conceptualization, design, development and implementation of a new shopping experience for RadioShack consumers. The first experiential store opened in July 2013 in Manhattan. 125 stores in this format opened over the next year and all delivered high revenue and great customer feedback. In 2014, Michael’s role expanded to SVP of Store Operations. This expanded role included all of the Store Concept responsibilities plus Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Real Estate, Construction, Facilities and Indirect Procurement for the more than 4000 RadioShack stores in the US. For six years prior to joining RadioShack, Michael led the transformation of stores for Duane Reade and Walgreen's as both retailers moved to become health and daily living destinations, including all the Walgreen's flagship and well experienced stores. Collectively, he brings with him over 38 years of Retail experience in Operations, Loss Prevention, Merchandising, Conceptualization, Design, Real Estate and Construction.
